Oxford was the first city in England that I've visited.  When we first moved to the UK, we rarely go out.  We were so focused about being a family, earning money and working.  When the opportunity to travel arose, I immediately said yes.  Reading, my old residence was situated in between London and Oxford.  We took the train from Reading Station to Oxford Station.  It only takes at least 30 minutes by non-stop Oxfordshire train. Most of the spot in Oxford can be reached through foot as long as you know where to go.  On summer days, street market could be seen.  The libraries and most museums are free and donation is an option of course.
