Things to Do in Boracay

At least these were the things that we did when we visited:

1.  Zorbing:
300PHP per person/  380PHP for 2

2.  Dine Alfresco Style:
At night, the seashore of Stations 1 and 2 are lined with tables for dining.  It's a matter of choosing which restaurant you want to go to.
Buffet starts from 350PHP.
3.  Glitter Tattoo:
From 150PHP
4.  Sunbathe and Camwhore:
FREE!
The beach is amazing.  The seashore is very wide.  It gets wider the closer you are to Station 1.  If you are staying in station 3, it doesn't matter.  Walking from stations 1 to 3 takes less than 30 minutes.

5.  Island Hop and ate seafood
1500PHP

6.  Snorkelling

7.  Drove an ATV to see the island:
750PHP per hour including the tour guide
1500 per hour for the bug car including the tour guide
8.  Went for a massage/spa
Detox:  850PHP
Foot Spa:  500PHP
I suggest Renato's Massage and Touch Therapy.  We went for a shiatsu and it's to die for!!!

Aklan, Philippines

Basang Cave and Cold Spring Resort:

Jawili Falls:

Beach in Aklan:

When we went to Boracay, we took the Aklan-Manila trip.  The Caticlan trips were suspended due to aviation problems.  Aklan is an hour by land through the Boracay port.  On our way to the airport, our tour guide suggested that we see Aklan.  The beach in Jawili was amazing!  You have the beach all to yourself plus  the beach is clean and the sand fine and white.

HongKong Disneyland

I'm pretty sure that anyone who goes to the HK, 50% of them wants to visit Disneyland.  I know because I do.  :)

These are my top 5 favourites in HK Disneyland:

1. Festival of Lion King
2. The Golden Mickeys
3. Mickey's Philharmagic
4. Fireworks display with special glasses from Disney.
5. Lighting of Main Street USA.

Going to HK Disney is not difficult. Our Cab fare cost 250HK dollars and the coach from Disney to North Point cost 38 HK Dollars each. The entrance is 350 HK Dollars each on weekdays but it's worth every penny, at least for me. :P HK Disney's Castle is smaller than Euro Disney and less people dress up. I see handful on kids in their princess costumes. My sister complained about the only family wearing the character headband. I told her that they weren't participative and not feeling the Disney Spirit. I want full experience in everything. Maybe next time I should wear a princess costume. That would be fun(and an embarassment to whoever I am with).

Avenue of Stars, HongKong

This is the perfect spot if you only have an hour to spare in HongKong.  This is also a fantastic spot for camwhoring.  It got the harbour view and there are lots of  famous asian names to take photo of.

Stanley Market and The Peak, HongKong

The Peak:

The Peak is a great place to see all of Hong Kong's sky scraper.  It is particularly pretty at night time when all the buildings are lit.  A very good place to relax and chat.  If you wanna go to the peak, please go to this link - http://www.thepeak.com.hk/en/2_1.asp

Stanley Market:

Stanley Market is like Chatuchak Market in Bangkok only they sell goods for cheaper prices there and Stanley is much smaller than JJ Market.  I was surprised that it only took us less than 30 minutes to see the whole market and we didn't buy anything.  I had to convert to peso and HKD is much stronger than my currency.  Hehehe!  Loved the alfresco cafe though.

Macau, China

To go to the St. Paul's Ruin, take the number 3 bus and get off once you see the pink building.  Sorry, I am not helpful.  :P  Everything is walking distance from there.
We were able to watch a free light show in HardRock Hotel. The show runs every 30 minutes from 12noon to 7PM. It was very convincing. It scared my dear sister. She gets easily scared anyway. It is a must see for kids and kids at heart. I am a retard so I enjoyed it, BIG TIME! :)

Outside the Venetian.  If you are a big fan of the Korean Drama Boys over Flowers, this is the place where one of the lead guys played an instrument and earned money.  No entrance to the Venetian as it is a casino.  You have to be of legal age to get into the actual casino though.

Macau is an hour away with Turbo Jet from Macau Ferry Terminal. The fare is cheaper on Weekdays and in the Mornings. We paid, 134 HK Dollar to Macau and 176 HK Dollar from Macau for each person. The ferry leaves every 30 minutes til 5AM. I think, If I am not mistaken, they have a 24 hours service. If you want to go to the Venetian, they have a free shuttle bus from the Airport. They must have one if they want more people to go to their Casino cause Grand Lisboa is just a stone throw away from the Ferry. We didn't know they have one until we went to the HardRock Hotel. That's where we took the Shuttle Bus to the Pier.

Tawaen Beach, Thailand

There are 3 beaches near Pattaya.  I went to each one whilst on holiday in Thailand.  Whilst Luke was at work, I go on trips alone.  I love it.  I love the freedom and I love seeing new places.  :)

Naban Port:

 The Sunbeds:
 The Beach Area:
 The Fine White Sand:
Crystal Clear Water:

 The Wooden Bridge:
I was pleasantly surprised with the beach. It was nothing like I've expected. I mean, Samae Beach disappointed me and according to the articles that I read, Samae is better than Tawaen. I beg to differ. Tawaen is wayyyy better than Samae, less crowded, cleaner water and kid friendly. You can actually walk on the seashore without bumping into the sunbeds.

There are two ways to go to Tawaen Beach depending on which time you depart. First is the Pattaya(from Bali Hai Pier) to Naban Port Route. You must take a Baht Bus located in front of 7-11 to Tawaen Beach. Second one was the direct Pattaya - Tawaen Beach Ferry. I took the first one cause I miss the direct Ferry. Returning from the beach is easy, they have every hour ferry service from 1PM til 6PM.

This is the cheapest beach trip I've been. All in all, I spent less than 150 THB. Here's the breakdown:

Fare to Bali Hai Pier - 10 THB
Ferry to Naban Port - 20 THB
Baht Bus to Tawaen Beach - 20 THB
Sun Bed - 20 THB
Food/Fruit - 20 THB
Ferry to Pattaya - 20 THB
Baht Bus to Soi 5 - 20 THB

For a grand total of 130 THB for a day of relaxation on a beach.
